Primary elements of the ideal sales talk
What are the primary elements of the ideal sales talk? -Yankee Peddler
In my OPINION, it is no different that sniffing out a story... Who, what, when, where, why, whynot maybe, and whatelse....
Question clearly and thoroughly; question properly and the sale will uncover itself.
Explore - your clients situation thoroughly through questions
Identify - Areas that your product or services offer solutions
Recommend - products or services that meet your clients need
Agree -on solution
Service to your Client - follow-up, communicate, keep asking what's new.
This is a foreshortened formula that we use as adopted from a simple program I was introduced to by AFLAC.. action selling.
Commitment Objective... Know what you're going to do with each meeting or step. This is pretty important in my sales and keeps me focused... something I need desperately... :)
Anyway, not being as advanced as many of the sales folks here, this is probably pretty basic and might miss some necessary areas, but this is the process that we have evolved to and are constantly looking for ways to improve ourselves in our service to our clients.
