A list of the best sales books of all time.
If you had to put a list together of the best sales books, say the top 10 sales books, of all time which books would you put on the list? -Community Mailbox
I'll offer five that I would put above all others. The first one is a must read.
How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling (Bettger)
The Accidental Salesperson (Lytle)
The Art of War The Art of Sales (Gagliardi)
How to Master The Art of Selling (Tom Hopkins)
Mega-Selling (Cowper)
-Ace Coldiron
I'd add Ziglar's secrets of closing the sale as another good book, as well How to win friends and influence people to your list.
Much Aloha,

Tom Hopkins and Frank Bettger books above are excellent, my addition to them would be Jeffrey Gitomer Sales Bible.

Gitomer.... This guy is a crack up.... hard to read, but his information is valuable... why hard to read... he tells you all the bad things you do then half an hour later, gives you example of what he means... This is MY READING.. with my perceptions... rodents have small brains... so "Back Off".... sn;
But I've got him as well... reading right now in fact, the little red book of selling.. i have some of his other books by my bedside along with hopkins, ziglar, and Bettger, in fact... :)
Aloha... -rattus58
Definately:
The Sales Bible - Jeffrey Gitomer
91 mistakes smart salespeople make (cant remember the author!)
Thanks

the ones that I have learned from the most and have impacted me the most are:
How To Master The Art Of Selling - Tom Hopkins
Zero Resistance Selling - Maxwell Maltz
Physic Cybernetics - Maxwell Maltz
How To Win Friend And Influence People - Dale Carnegie
The definitive Book Of Body Language - Allen Pease
There are a few more but these are definitely near the very top -Smile
How about a few more sales psychology orientated books:
Influence - Cialdini
Predictably Irrational - Dan Ariely
Buyology - Martin Lindstrom -peter-odonoghue
I'd like to add this to the list:
No B.S. Sales Success (or the upcoming No B.S. Sales Success in the New Economy) by Dan S. Kennedy
It's available for pre-order on Amazon now, and comes out later this week... I'm SUPER excited to get my hands on this one, I've read the previous edition and it's FANTASTIC. This is the first sales book that addresses selling in the new economy. -MarcEnriquez
I definitely have to say
How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling (Bettger)
The Greatest Salesman in the World (Mandino) -WhyteFoxx
