Google Ads!

Sales Training »
Hi Guys!

In my previous post i mentioned that with the key words "best time

management" and "time management for students" my site is on first page of

google but i am getting no traffic increase.

I got so helpful replies now my question is that will it be helpful if i pay

google for publishing my ads on different sites? and if yes how much will it

cost to me?

Waiting for flooding remarks!

All exposure can help.

are you talking about placement advertising in the Google content network? if so you can get cheap traffic this way, how much will it cost you, that is hard to say, I would suggest you set it up as a CPM campaign where you pay per 1000 impressions.

I don't do a lot of adwords however here is a great tool to help you find great sites for placemnet advertising: ad words digger.com it is a free tool,

I hope this helps some -Smile

There are 210 searches a month on Google for "best time management" and 2400 a month for "time manAgement for students"

The first search term is therefore not worth ranking for aa even a page one showing would get hardly any traffic.

The "students" search term has only a single Google ad showing. Where a search produces only a single google ad that means no competition right??

Sadly no. It usually means there is no money to be made from this search term. (otherwise there would be more ads)

Even using google ads from other sites (content network) will make little difference since the search traffic is so low...the content ads would only tempt in casual visitors.

You may need to think about some kind of targetted "offline" ad campaign where you can get seen by your target audience...(student magazine maybe??)

The reality of selling "online" is that there have to be sufficient searches to make it worthwhile.

One last point....your website should have a "benefit laden headline"...something that will force people to read on.

Think about how you skim through newspapers and magazines......you look at the headlines only...until you find one that compells you to read the rest.
