A very good analogy was offered to me by Jeff.

When someone is impressed with the photos taken by someone, the first question asked is, "what camera do you use?" It is as if by having the same camera they too can produce the same quality photos.

The camera is the tool used by the photographer. Having the same camera does not generate the same quality of photos anymore than building the right network, correctly following-up, having competent time management, business knowledge, or personal drive, will generate sales.

A quality photo is caused by what is behind the camera. Just as what is behind the sales techniques determines the creation of a sale.

Sales is about "being" in the moment. What is generally taught to the public is the "doing."
