I haven't had any interviews in a long time, but I literally tremble when I am standing in front of a crowd with a microphone...

I love interviews; especially job interviews. I see it as an opportunity to shine above the other candidates. Resumes and cover letters are flat and rarely differentiate themselves as one can do in an interview. Really it's the very essence of sales; selling yourself.

I also enjoy thinking on my feet, solving puzzles and problems and reading people. These factors mean that I am in my element during interviews.

I also shake when I am waiting for the interview, but I would try to think that it is just another normal meeting. I will normally start shaking again when the interview nearly finish. Anyone being like me?

Why do you think you get the shakes?

I guess its a normal thing to people to get shaky or nervous when going for an interview. Personally, I think its the things that you think will make your interview go into worse. I mean you are nervous because you are thinking about the mistakes that you may do or the right things you may not do during the interview. I've gone through some interviews but in my first time of being interviewed, I also trembled because I'm thinking about the right answer to give.

In going for an interview, I guess the best thing to do is just be yourself and concentrate on what you do best. Anyway, you are selling yourself so you must let them see your assets.

I currently work from home now, so I don't have to worry about this too much. When I was out in the workforce and interviewing, I use to panic something fearce! I don't know why, I had excellent skills and experience to offer these potential employers, but I just did not do well in an interview.

Interviews, or other one-on-one situations don't make me nervous, so panic is not an emotion I generally associate with either jon interviews or sales interviews. I am like rainmaker though in that I am quite uneasy in front of large crowds, to the point of shaking. I've tried many remedies for it but haven't found the right one yet.

I was in theater and speech and debate in high school and college. Got over the crowd fea. Now, I speak infront of groups.
Interviews can be nerve racking. I have a nervous laugh which comes out when I'm uncomfortable.

i think the short answer is that we shake when we are loaded with dopamine for any reason, and our motorskills are bound to display our unease. that's not a bad thing! its something to pay attention to mainly because our limits are displaid this way. if you're having trouble controling those symptoms, many places will give you remedies. breathing is always a reliable fallback, as are homeopathic remedies, and many DOMs can help you through any short spell of fear from incidents such as public speaking, etc.
