On a smaller scale attending these events can provide similar results for you. When you get resolve to get a card or contacts for each relavant person you speak wtih. Resolve to speak with as many people as you can.
Follow up with each contact, it's a numbers game, the more you get, and the more you follow up with the better your chances get at making a sale!
