Many people go just for the contacts.

In my company, (url removed), we contact lists for companies within your target market or market segment.

One way we generate email leads for business customers is by pulling lists of industry trade shows and scrubbing the lists for email contacts. This can prove to be a quite lucrative investment in peoples business.

On a smaller scale attending these events can provide similar results for you. When you get resolve to get a card or contacts for each relavant person you speak wtih. Resolve to speak with as many people as you can.

Follow up with each contact, it's a numbers game, the more you get, and the more you follow up with the better your chances get at making a sale!
