Best sales method for a business proposal?
I have a business proposal and a list of people who I think may be interested in it, My ultimate goal is to get a meeting and give a presentation and I'm wondering what the best method to get this? I could write them letters, but I think that they might not be read. I could call them, but I always get blocked by secretaries as these are pretty powerful people. Lastly, I could just show up at there office but I'm not sure how that woudl go over. I'm not a sales person and I find the idea of calling people very hard. I would appreciate any advice people have. - by GreenTeaFan

What is it about calling people that you find hard? Is it making the call, engaging the prospect, presenting your proposal, all of the above or something else? - by Jeff Blackwell
Before you propose anything to anyone, ask yourself - what is in it for them? If you can't answer this question of top of your head, don't send proposal to anyone and start asking questions. - by AlenMajer
