Your prospective twitter visitors are likely to be spread geographically. Except if your product is almost unique with no (local) competitors, twitter could be more a marketing tool than a sales tool for 2 reasons:

(i) Why will your prospective twitter followers follow you, when they can get something similar nearby? What will be their motivation?

(ii) How will you sell to such dispersed audience individually, with your local followers likely being a minuscule number?
