It has been suggested that generally speaking salespeople do not generate enough quality referrals. In your opinion, what are the biggest barriers to getting referrals?
The number one barrier is the lack of perceived need. Your customer may find your product or service valuable but that does not mean he or she also knows someone else who may be interested.

Many people have an irrational, innate revulsion to sales agents of any type. These people would be angry if someone they know them and their attitude where to send one their way.
