Whoops, my bad. Should I apologize for a bad voicemail?
I only have 1 week of telephone marketing under my belt, but I am a quick study and I have total confidence in my companies service and product.
The other day while calling a 'warm' lead, of all things, I think my mind took off to places unknown.
I knew what to say to the prospect and, I was ready.
Unfortunately, I was immediately diverted to voice-mail.
For the life of me, I can't remember a word of what I said.
My worst fear is that I rambled ... since I can't get a do-over, do I mention anything about the voice-mail, should I try to cover-up with an apology, or just drop it and hope the client doesn't think I'm a total dip-wad? - by Ima Caller
