For real? Why would I call back later?

The idea is to change up your pitch and try again.

I would have done that anyway!

Don't get me wrong, I don't "HARD SELL" anyone. That's f***ing annoying. But then I don't run away the first time a prospect throughs up an objection either.

Some would.

Yeah, I know the kind.

Have you ever heard the "If you throw enough **** against the wall some of it is bound to stick" theory? That's what that reminds me of. What a waste of potentially good leads.

Have to go - chat with ya later.

Are you equating persuasion to hard-sell pitches?

No, Bridger. Not all persuasion relies on hard-sell pitches; however, hard sell pitches do heavily rely on persuasion, as far as I can tell.

I am also not stating that persuasion is a bad thing, only that it is better when it is not the only thing holding a sale together. It is both necessary and useful in many situations.

What relation do you find between "hard sell" and "persuasion"?

I'm not being a wise alec, but doesn't the term hard-pitch imply persuasion, by definition? That's all I'm saying. I'm not an expert. That is only my opinion.
