It's more low-key groups basically. I'm not a big fan of mainstream music.

I begin my morning six days a week by hiking two hours over the hills of a local university and old state hospital grounds - I stop for half an hour and read, drink a cup of espresso Italian roast coffee at a campus coffee shop much like the ones I hung out in the mid sixties [very current alternative music of all kinds as well as classic jazz, Beatles - you name it on iPod] - then return home. My hike equals forty miles per week x four which is one hundred-sixty per month.
What I listen to hiking are my thoughts, my OM section of the walk - breathing and sound which quiets and clears the mind - and as much stillness of the mind as I can accomplish to hear the music of the wind through trees, cars, etc.
I also work out an hour a day doing a combination of free standing weights, yoga and assorted isometrics and stretches or muscle and flex ability - I listen to this then: http://www.bujinkan.com/[Listen to it for thirty minutes and see if you like it.]
Otherwise I listen to all kinds of music as I posted earlier.
