What is your monitor?
Hardware is not my forte, so forgive my un-technical descriptions: I'm just curious...Do you use an LCD monitor (flat) or the other kind (whatever it's called  ) -RainMaker

Same here. When this one goes I'll replace it with a flat monitor. The prices are getting pretty low. :) -Liberty

Ditto! I picked up a new computer with the monitor for less than $500 US. -SpeedRacer
I just upgraded from a 17" CRT to a 19" LCD. I love it! After much searching to find ratings and reviews, I settled on a Samsung Syncmaster 930B. Got it at Circuit City for $367.
One thing to consider is that some monitors are bundled with speakers -- which you may not need if you already have them on your computer.

We purchased a 19" Flat screen about six months, upgrading from a 17" CRT.
Love the flat screen. Found it online @ slickdeals.net and spent $175 with shipping for it. Much more room and much nicer screen. -BarbieClaws
