Is Force Field Analysis the same as a Balance Sheet Close?

First off, your avatar is exactly how I pictured you in my mind.

Second, and to answer your question, "No", the two are not the same.

Force Field Analysis is about "driving" and "restraining" forces while the balance sheet close is about reasons "for" and "against" doing something.

They do both use a balance sheet format however.
