I used it to compare prices on a Palm Pilot last year. I found the cheapest price, ordered it, and it worked out fine. However, I don't think froogle guarantees any of the retailers that pop up from its searches. It just shows the price.

If the price beats others by A LOT, I would be wary.

I've yet to use Froogle. Google's search results are usually pretty good. Do you use it?

was just looking into it as an idea of getting product in front of potential customers.

Froogle doesn’t drive much traffic to its merchants/sellers, on the other hand, its free (or was free some time ago)

No doubt, once they start driving huge traffic they will move to a CPC model like some of the industry leaders (NexTag, Shopping, Bizrate etc..)

Is this a good alternative or supplement to organically driven traffic? Please let me know after you test.
