Thank you. That makes sense to me. I will check out the Closing the Sale Forum and the scripts. Seems I really need to look at how I am approaching my prospects and get in a different mindset. Not always easy to do, but I continue to try.

I'm sure that you believe that "you have to expand the conversation...", and that you have always believed it.

However, if you try it the other way you will make a lot more calls per hour and you will offer your products and services to a lot more prospects. Then, the statistical probability of finding prospects who want what your selling, and don't need a "push," is considerably greater than the probability of using persuasive skills to get a smaller number of people to buy what they don't already want.
