Hi from new member!

I'm Michele in northwest Florida. I'm making a midlife career change into sales.
I was a sales assistant for a while and then did other admin jobs for many years. Then I tried selling Avon on the side and discovered how much more I enjoyed making new friends and talking to people than sitting behind a computer all day. So, I am now on the prowl for my first professional sales job.
I still maintain a cosmetics membership, but in a newer company called Lady Emily. It's still in the back of my mind to do professional sales part time and be in business for myself part time, but I know I need real life sales training and experience. Didn't really get much training in the direct selling world, and what I experieinced were not professional sales people.
So I am looking to soak up all the advice and learning I can get! :-)

Welcome, Michelle. You have come to the right place. The internet is a fantastic resource for sales training. I have never had any formal training--just here on SP, mostly. As you can probably see from the number of my posts--if you ask a lot of questions--you can get a lot of answers!

Hello, I have started my own business and trying to promote our company to others. I feel my ideal is a good one and its marketable, just need to get others to see the need. I hoping people here can give me some insite and ideals to help me over this hump that seems to be stopping our sales.
