The world is going gaga over football or "soccer".....

Do you guys follow football? Which team are you routing for?

I'm betting my chips on Brazil, England, Argentina amd Germany to make it to Semis

I think Argentina will take it out. They look the quality team of this worldcup.

I haven't watched this "football" (we call it soccer in the U.S.) before so I can't pick a team. In the news it does seem like people are crackers about the worldcup. What is the schedule for semis and finals?

They're done to the last 16 and in a few days will be down to the final 8. Then over about another week they'll sort the men from the boys.

P.S. I think that quote should be "You're only as good as what you're doing today" since yesterday has been and gone

Yeah they are a good team, but they seem to slug it out in the recent games...

England, france and germany should have a goodchance as well

It seems like all I ever hear about, as far as the World Cup goes, is the issue with the penalties, and why it is not liked in the U.S.
On a seperate note, the guys on ESPN were discussing the endings from yesterday; saying that is was ridiculous that those games ended with penalty kicks.

yeah now it's down to the last 4... and present support is now with Portugal and France
