My sales experience has been largely promoting publicising and selling educational and vocational courses, and language services. I have done this in both the UK and Japan. The courses were largely language courses: English, French, Spanish, as well as general interest courses.

I also have some experience of bookselling, in relation to my educational work.

I also sell regularly on eBay, but I don't think that really counts! That's just me periodically clearing out my house!

As for reality TV, yes, it does seem to be quite popular here in the UK, with probably the most popular one being Big Brother, which runs every summer.

It's the same in North America, telegraph.hill. We've got BB starting this week, and it runs until October - the most popular show by a long shot.

Yes - BB seems to run in quite a lot of countries.

It is often found that the person winning is the relatively quiet person who has stayed in the background somewhat, and the lively people who put a lot into the show tend to get voted out.

That's pretty much the same for most competition-style reality shows though, wouldn't you say? I know it's happened almost every season on Survivor.
