Telegraph Hill, the Dale Carnegie Sales course was amazingly helpful to me. Prior to this course, I'd taken their 14-week communication type course as part of corporate training. In some ways, it changed my life. I know that sounds like an aggressive statement, but it honestly gave me the extra push I needed to go after the things I always just dreamt of doing. After taking their communications course, I figured out how to get the job I wanted; then went on to be an officer of a small company before following my dream and starting my own company. I'm about 90% sure I wouldn't have done most of that had I not takent the initial DC course.
So when I needed help in Sales (about 4 or 5 years later), I went back to them, and it was extremely effective.
