I have been working out of the Bulletin Board using this technique, I made one sale doing this and have been up front in telling people I'm from a dealership like you said to do. I've had a few people who I tried to work out deals for, but they were just so far upside down it was impossible. This is excellent verbiage to use though.

I think suggestive scripting such as this will help me with turning a phone prospect into a sale more often than not. I will get with my manager to see if he has any suggestions for scripting as well.

Thanks!!

Smile Welcome...

Great day Ryan J.,

My name is Michael Coritsidis and I am a Job Ready Strategist/Motivational Speaker/Life Improvement Coach

Welcome...

Some thoughts...

Don't sell the client, let the client sell to him/herself.

Don't act like a used car salesman. If you know what I mean.

Market yourself to women/groups/organizations.

Offer how-to Seminars.

House of Worship.

PTA's.

You will do great.

Thanks for the welcome and the thoughts, I try to act like a used car salesman as little as possible.

Nothing wrong with acting like a used car salesman if you imitate one with integrity, honesty and knows how lucrative the car business is.

From your posts I see you are fairly new to auto sales. It is a great profession when done properly. One of the things people have to overcome is the "stigma" attached to car sales. Over the years the industry has given itself, at times deservedly so, a black eye. Those days are changing. Politics, religion, the Enron scandal...let those without sin cast the first stone.

I am proud of the car business, it has been good to me financially and I can't think of a business I would rather be in.

Smile Pure Intentions

There is a perception, right or wrong, about used car salesmen. You are right, there is nothing wrong with any work one does, as long as it is done with pure intentions.
