choosing when hiring.. biased?

when selecting/hiring employees..do you find yourself choosing a certain sex, race, etc?..

or are you open?

I've never been in the position to hire someone. I have a feeling I would have a tendency to hire someone younger than I am because I could value a younger point of view than mine. So, age would play a role but race and sex wouldn't.

Absolutely not and wouldn't consider it an option.

I'm wide open. The only pattern in my hiring practices is choosing the person who I think is the best candidate for the job.

When I work as a manager in one company, my Boss prefered to hire a salesgirl with brain and beauty. I hired almost all girls.
