Welcome to this forum amd welcome to the profession of sales.
No doubt you want to learn tips, hints and winning way methods, so buy a book from Amazon for about $4-$6 dollars written by Frank Bettger. Ask your library do they have an old copy of Taken at the Flood - the biography of an advertising man, see if you can find a copy of 100 Greatest Adverts [ever written] by Julian Lewis Watkins, you must read up on Mike Todd, Lord Duveen [the art dealer] and a legal primer on contract law. You might be tempted to buy a number of motivational books [you find millions at garage sales - my advice is don't] And if your into real estate the only book worth buying is Semenows Questions and Answers. For about $75 you would have bought 6 bags of diamonds.
Here's the 7th diamond, in sales just remember that buyers cloak and conceal their inner fears, ambitions, needs and wants, they more often than not wrap them in little white lies, its your job to find out why and to study why do people buy, you can reduce this to what do they want, and what do I want, now heres the difficult part - their needs must always appear to be MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU - THAN YOUR NEEDS. When you crack this code of human behavior your gonna beat 75% of all your competitors. Good luck.
