Does it help your business to use email lists to attempt to get new customers? If so, how do you get email lists? Right now I've only been sending e-card messages to those people already in my email address book. -ozzie

Many businesses have found opt-in email marketing to be an excellent source of new business. 2) You can buy opt-in email lists from list brokers. Here is a link http://www.submitexpress.com/opt-in-emails.html -SpeedRacer

Email list is very important especially in business. It's helpful to use it in promoting and advertising your products. I have my on email list but it's written manually. :thu -shinningstar

I've received email as promotion for specific events.

The organization would send emails about a week in advance of the event, then another batch about a day before as a reminder.

The first one helped me avoid scheduling anything else on that date, and the second one kept it top of mind. -Ricardo

Thanks to all of you for your replies. Thanks to SpeedRacer for the link. I'll check into it. After the Holidays, I think I could make my own email list but it would take quite a bit of time. -ozzie

How would you get this list to be sure that people would want to receive your mail and not consider it spam? Maybe I'm not quite understanding what you're asking. Like would you have signup at a website or something? I assume you don't mean buying a random list? -destiny
