Job Interview Closing Techique???

Great day all,

Scenario:

You are at the end of your job interview with ABX Company. You really want this job. If you walk out that office without those tHREE important words, YOU ARE HIRED, you know that you can kiss that job goodbye.

Question:

What/which sales closing technique(s) would you use that would be appropriate in this situation and thereby giving you the best chance of being hired?

My 2¢

Others might have a different opinion but if you're waiting until the end to close you're probably too late. I think you'd do better with a series of committments throughout the interview.

Throughout the interview you definantly need to impress them. But one thing I do at the end of every interview is ask for the sale basically. I do this with one simple question, "Is there any reason you dont think this job is for me?" Most of the time I get a no, there is no reason, so immediatly after that I say great so when do I start? If they do give a reason, say "I thought you were going to say that, I feel the same way and as a matter of fact I've been working on that (whatever the reason was) and I am always willing to improve." I've had several interviews and so far its always worked.

My idea would be to follow-up with a closing question of your own when it makes sense. Here are couple examples:

Interviewer: How would you describe yourself?
Candidate: I would describe myself as...[blah, blah, blah]. Would these qualities be of benefit to me in this position?

Interviewer: What major problem have you encountered and how did you deal with it?
Candidate: An example of a major problem is...[blah, blah, blah]. Are these the type of problem solving skills that you want in your sales staff?

Beauty and brain is an advantage during interviews. It gives good impression to the interviewer. In the end of the interview, I used to say " If given a chance to work in your company, I'll never let you down." That's it!

Great day shinning star,

I'm sure you have heard the old adage, "never say never." That said, If that works for you, great.
Thanks for your wisdom. I appreciate it.
