10th or 11th isn't bad - you must be doing something correct. It just means you need to fill in the spots you aren't currently doing to move ahead. Get into the DMOZ if you can. Yahoo Directory might not be a bad place to be either. Try to generate one-way links to your site through various methods and keep your reciprocal linking campaign going - try to generate a couple new reciprocal links each day.

Search engine optimization is the way to go. Why not try getting some good quality back links?

Content is king! When you provide good content the rest has a way of working itself out.

Once you rank high already and you are trying to get closer to the first position then it is important to look at on page seo factors including your meta tags, keyword density etc.

One thing you have to keep in mind is , your site will be completing with very high profile sites when you get to top , so you need to have good site and good service once you get at top
