Advertise your site across thousands of pages with the members of DigitalPoint's FREE Co-op Ad Network.

I just took a gander at this link posted under the category "Internet marketing." It looks interesting. Do you participate in this network, Jeffrey (or anyone else)? If so, what do you think of it?

In the past I did participate in the Digital Point Ad Network. Once I read Google Patent Application: 0050071741 I decided to remove the network from my site(s).

There is a new ad network called Link-Vault that appears to overcome some of the Google issues that Digital Point has yet to address.

Either way, IMO, these types of ad networks best serve those sites with thousands of pages since ad placement rate is somewhat based on number of pages in the network.

Considering my current policy is to not accept outside advertising, I would not be a good candidate, but I was curious. I may be missing the boat with back links, but I will have to settle for internal linking. I seem to be the only website in the universe without banner advertising, and I may be leaving a decent income stream on the table, but I refuse to bombard my visitors with advertising.

For some of my sites advertising makes sense and for others it doesn't.

For Backlinks I recommend:
  1. Get your site listed in as many reputable Directories as you can.
  2. Build content that prompts others to link to you.
  3. Find quality sites within your industry for quality link exchanges.
BTW, if you provide me with your backlink information I will add you to our "New" Sales Marketing Directory.
