i am looking for any way to prospect i am sick of sittin here on the show room floor waiting for someone to come on the lot and run when they see me.. i need to find a way and learn how to prospect so the people find me and call me not me waiting for em... im a newb so i am looking for any type of advice for selling cars

Two ways you can improve the situation: advertising and sharpenning your sales techniques.
Get on the phone and call your friends, your friends friends, everybody you know. Go to a busy plaza parking lot and leave busness card or flyers on the windshelds of the cars.
Advertise in the news papers, "Cars for Sale" magazines.
Also, learn more sales techniques by taking Sales Training course.

Hi Houston:
I mostly use Cold Calling, by canvasing the area. I have my ways to get around barricades of secretaries and receptionists to get to the right person while I'm canvasing. If he or she is unavalable, at least I will get a business card of that person so I can call back and make an appointment.
