Clickbank ebooks

I was thinking of wading into the world of online sales after being in hardgoods my whole life. I have some experiences in line with a lot of the ebooks on Clickbank, primarily finance.

I don't want to hide my "clickthrough" in some heavy sales pitch, I want to establish a forum to discuss finance, debt, income, ect, and offer some ebooks in plain sight. I'd like people to know that I do endorse the ebooks, and if they so choose, they would get more, better information than I am going to ffer for free.

My question is this; would this best be done via a website landing page?, a fourum?, a BBS?, a Blog?, or a combination of some or all of them? or is selling via an honest forum just a waste of time in Web 2.0?

I'm not comfortable with the churn em' and burn' em format most people use to sell items like this ala' "The rich jerk".

Any ideas?

What are the pros and cons you see for each of these methods?

I would do a landing page. Trying to promote in forums is hard work and sometimes not aloud. Lot of forums don't want you to promote another product. Most forums use Google adsense.

I have to read a lots of clickbank and CJ e-books, but by my experince i would say that rather than reading books , you try things online , this gives more better idea of working

Have you thought of doing a direct response sales letter? This would be your landing page. It doesn't have to be hypey copy like you see in many sales letters.

A landing page on a blog works, blogs are great, I own about 4 of them, google and search engines love blogs! blogs are seo friendly. No need to worry to much about html, css, etc..

I started off with googles blogger.com, it's free

Thanks for all your replies. I've been away from the board for a while. There is such a myriad of options when it comes to the web, I'm suffering from what Tony Robbins terms "approach avoidance".. lol

Maybe a simple blog would be a good start. How do you generate any income from it though?. Seems you have to have a Masters in "Internet Economics" (Internomics? - hey, a new book idea!) these days to get something that works. I'm not looking for a 6 figure income, just something that generates pennies that I can turn into dollars once I see how it's done.

Thanks again, this is the best forum on the web!

You could use per per click programs, yahoo, google, msn, etc... use other affiliate programs. Or best yet, sell your own stuff!
