I've read a lot about how important PR Ranking of your webpage is. I think I understand what PR Ranking is but I don't have a clue how to find out what the PR Rank of my website is. Does anyone know how you find out? -ozzie

There are online SEO tools like this one at SEO Chat that will tell you "ToolBar PageRank" but only Google knows your real PageRank. -SpeedRacer

Google knows your real PageRank? Really? How can we possibly inquire about it in Google? -shinningstar

You don't. Google doesn't give out that information. -SpeedRacer

On another site, someone suggested a website where you could type in your url and get your page rank. I did that and on two of my sites, my page rank was 0. I haven't had either of those very long. My main personal site has been up about a year and it has a PR3 which I was happy about. If you want to check a page rank it is http://www.checkpagerank.com/ -ozzie
Page Rank Predictor #6
Page Rank is updated every 4 weeks to 3 months and is largely based on external links - number and quality. It is only one of the 200 seperate criteria that Google uses to rank a site in the SERPs. PR is important but not vital. Right now, I'm #5 for "Aurora Real Estate" in the SERPs with a PR of 0. However, a well-designed and optimized page with a PR will usually beat a well-designed and optimized page without a PR.

Here's a fun tool that will allow you to "predict" the future page rank of your site. Who knows how accurate it is, but for what it's worth, here it is:

The easiest way to find out your website page rank is indeed by installing a Google tool bar. Page rank does not affect your ranking in the SERPS really so don't spend to much attention on Google page rank. -jimberan

PR ranking has an effect on the SERPs , though not much but Google's bot does look after the PR of a site. -mtajim

I have outranked websites with much higher PR in the Google SERPS for competive keywords so it leads me to to conclusion that Google itself doesnt pay too much attention to PR. -jimberan
