I'm wondering if anyone here is using stamps.com for their mailing needs. I received a cd and $100 offer in the mail the other day and am considering giving them a try. I'd like to hear what others have to say about the service first.
What costs are involved with using that service Ozzie? Do you have to buy their equipment or supplies?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the service, ozzie. But a few years ago I used to buy American stamps and have them sent to Canada.
What is the advantage of this company over buying stamps at a local post office?

According to the cover on the CD (which I haven't tried yet) you can mail and ship without leaving your home. This CD contains a $100 offer including a digital scale and free postage. It looks like you weigh your item, print your postage and put it in or on the mail box for pick up by your carrier.

Companies are in business to make a profit. They have to be making their money somewhere.

This is a free introductory package. I believe there is a monthly charge if you sign up to continue the service. I guess I'd better insert the CD soon and find out more about it. I'll let you guys know after I've done that.
