Role Plays? Yes or No?

I'm curious how those of you in the forum react to role plays at meetings?
Do you think they're helpful to the sales people?

I like role playing if I get to ask the questions but not if I have to answer the questions.

Role playing reminds me of some radio advertisements that try to tell you your situation, like "You're in the market for insurance, but you don't know where to turn" or something like that.

I am not a fan of that sort of technique.
