Online Press release

How many of you do online press release whenever you have any new product or service , does it really help than doing it offline ? -mtajim

One of the benefits of creating online press releases and by distributing is that many other websites will pick up the press release and it creates a lot of new inbound links to your website. -jimberan

Syndication too. A lot of sites scrape releases and use
them to populate their pages. While I don't agree with
that, and legal or not, it does help with distribution. -MaxReferrals

What services have you used? There are fee/no fee sites. I'm wondering if the 'fee' sites are better.
