In many cities there are sign posting regulations, policies or codes. I would imagine that a violation of these would result in a fine of some type.

In Europe we normally only see these wild postings on old and empty buildings as well as on specially dedicated wild posting areas.

In my place any one can post anywhere , except private buildings besides that most places are free to post
