ethical selling = easy selling

Hi all - I'm delighted to join the community. I'm a sales consultant/trainer (25 years) with my own company, serving primarily Fortune 500 companies -- which means I've also been selling my services and self on straight commission for over two decades. My wife, JoAnn and I have been restoring a 1730's farmhouse in NJ on 10 acres alongside a trout stream for about the same length of time (don't ask us why.) I'm an avid 5-string banjo player (bluegrass/country/Irish music ).

Ongoing professional explorations and personal commitments:
  • Changing selling from what we do to customers to what we do with them;
  • Selling faster, easier and more profitably by creating lasting value for customers (rather than taking money from them);
  • Building a business based on loyal customer retention (rather than just knocking on doors);
  • Developing sales techniques the way martial artists master their discipline (rather than a "learn it once" skill like bike riding);
  • Mastering the "inner game" of selling, buying and influence that goes on below the level of consciousness and "verbal manipulation;"
