Just came across and joined this wonderful community!
I'm 35 from New York and have been in the sales profession since the since the summer after I graduated H.S.
My first telephone sales position was cold calling residences throughout the U.S. and setting appointments for RV timeshare presentations.
Imagine an 18 year old kid from the city taking a job like this? 
Well... within my first month, I set the company record for people showing up for presentations within a one week time frame. I received a wall plaque and my bonus was bigger than my paycheck. I knew from that point on sales is what I needed to learn and do for a living!
It didn't take me long to learn of other high paying sales positions in other industries.
Over the next decade and a half... I sold millions of dollars worth of products and services; learning as much as I could, from every person I met and every success and failure I had.
Last year I founded my firm and have turned a new page in my life.
