Besides having a compelling offering here are a couple of ideas:
  • Build Credibility... when the customer "believes" that your company is trustworthy he/she is more likely to buy from you.
  • Make it easy for the visitor to buy... make sure the purchase links [Buy Now, etc.] are easy to located and that you have multiple payment options available.
Good Luck! ;) -WobblyBox
Re: traffic to sales #3
I have no idea if this affects conversion ratio, but my GIANT PET PEAVE--as a consumer--is a website that makes me hunt and hunt and HUNT for the price (if is on the website at all!). I want to know how much and if I get tired of clicking before I find out how much, I figure it must be too expensive, and I move on to another website. -RainMaker

I agree with Wobbly and RainMaker, "Make it easy for your customer to buy!" ;) -Jeff Blackwell
Re: traffic to sales #5
thanks for the suggestions. I've heard also the some visitors have a phobia on this call to action word "Buy Now". Any other suggestions aside from "buy now"?

As long as I can remember there have been certain words that might "turn off" a client. For instance, the word "Purchase" versus "Invest."

With that said, in today's e-commerce environment the words "buy now" seem to be doing alright. ;) -WobblyBox

You might consider "Add to Shopping Cart" or "Add to Cart". ;) -Jolly Roger

Keep the transaction simple. For instance, don't send your visitor through a trillion different "checkout" screens where they can get lost or distracted. ;) -Gilbert
Re: traffic to sales #9
i guess much better to use "add to cart"..thanks for the info.. -tocoy
