Talking New Sales Questions - Just need help

Hello. I signed up yesterday and I kind of looked around on the website. I am not quite sure where to start. Maybe you guys can help. We have a new company that we started called Locate a Mechanic which is a database of mechanics, service providers, tire shops and etc throughout the US. We are new at sales and have done ALL the "Sales Help" mentors out there. We just can't find a way to sell this. We have never sold before so maybe it is just us. Our website is http://www.locateamechanic.com. Any advise would be great!

That virtual lady made me jump. My speakers were up and I wasn't expecting it.

Are you trying to sell advertising?

Yes. They are advertising spots for tire shops, mechanics and etc. that logistic companies and people like you and me can look at to find a service.

Do you show people who advertise how much traffic you get and where that information comes from so they can check it too?

Right now we only avg about 5000 hits a day nationwide, mostly from trucking companies and AAA auto clubs, who are looking for help with a truck, car or trailer that's are brokedown? I really don't know how to advertise this site to the general public we are listed on the first page of Yahoo and google under the following key words (find a mechanic) (locate a mechanic) Please help me if you can!!!

P.S. we also have a site call www.locateawrecker.com, but have done nothing with it!

Thanks, Kenny

Are you wanting to advertise locally or nationwide? Who is your competition?

There are advertising opportunities available on the National Truck and Trailer Services website through their a #1 Vendor Program. You could feed off their targeted traffic.
