My funniest sale was back when I was selling mechanics tools. I was demonstrating an LED shop light. I would plug it in, then shine it in the face of the mechanic to show how bright it was, then pound it on his work bench several times to show how durable it was, then shine it back in his face. I made many a sale this way, but on this one demonstration the light broke. It just went out! Needless to say, this got quite a chuckle from my potential customers! Well, just like this was a normal part of the demonstration, I said "and it comes with a lifetime replacement warranty," threw the light on the bench, got a new one out of the box, plugged it in, and did the same demonstration all over again. I think I sold everyone in that shop an LED light that day.
