Looking forward to sharing ideas
Hello all,
I'm 27, and have been selling since I was 17. I have worked in home design, machinery, and am now getting people happlily involved in fine art. I live in the small town of Kihei, Maui, HI, and work at an art gallery in Lahaina. There are three major things you can sell on Maui, and they are art, jewelry, and timeshares. 80% of the island residents are registered real estate agents (well, at least it seems that way). I enjoy selling art, because it is really honing my closing skills. A typical sale is 1-2 hours, average sales $3,000 to $5,000.
I would eventually like to get into timeshares, but there is still much I need to learn. I am a patient grasshopper. My dream job is high ticket corporate sales, with multiple decision makers, but those jobs just don't exist where I live. Oh well, certain things must be sacrificed to live in paradise.
I am looking forward to sharing ideas and techniques with anyone that is willing. I'll talk to all of you soon.
-Jon
