Amusing comeback
When I get the housewife on the phone whose first words after my intro are, "I'm busy cooking", I've replied "I wonder what smelled so good. What are you cooking?" which can lead to an interesting conversation.
(before I get jumped on, the comeback isn't a rebuttal because an offer hasn't been made yet). Some people will reject immediately just you based on who you represent and they may know what you're about to say. So be prepared to give a good presentation after you get their attention (good question for all: would you consider this type of comeback to be part of a presentation?) |

Do you consider your "comeback" as part of a presentation? What were you presenting?

JI agree with AZBroker - it would be an approach that I would try but not really one that I would teach others. Do you find you turn some off after saying that and what do you do when you here a males voice saying "I am busy in the shed". It is great to have a line to pick up one type of demographic - but what about the others?
