High Probability Selling

It’s been years since I’ve seen a really good forum for salespeople and sales managers. Thanks to Jeff Blackwell, this one has it all.

CONTROVERSY is often the result of differences of opinion. Since High Probability Selling (HPS) is a radically different sales process from all the others, it will almost certainly create some controversy. That can make for very interesting discussions.

I invite you to express your doubts, concerns, criticisms, and resistance. That’s how a many people react when something that they have been learning and doing is totally invalidated by a new and different process.

One of the things to keep in mind is that HPS doesn’t look at all like selling. If you think that any aspect of HPS closely resembles something in another selling system, it’s most likely that you have made a mental connection that isn’t really there.

I look forward to an interesting interchange of ideas with all the members of the SalesPractice community.

Welcome Jacques. That is quite a compliment from Gary Boye (who seems to have studied every theory in sales known to man, from what I can tell by his posts). I'm afraid I do not know who you are , but anyone who is so highly admired by someone as well read as Gary is someone I am looking forward to meeting!

Thank you for the acknowledgment.
I suggest that the first time you read “High Probability Selling,” that you read it quickly as you would read a novel. The second time you read it you’ll get three or four times more out of it than the first.

There are people who read the book and then get the book-on-CD set. Some of them say that they have listened to the entire book as many as 7 times.
