Article Create your own Outcome

By making a decision on the way you want something to pan out for you; you can create your own outcome by simple decidied your desired outcome.

For instance, decide what your goal is and start working backwards. - If you said to your 3 year old child (CLEAN YOUR ROOM) the task at hand for their little minds is (mum and dad want me to clean the whole world where do I start). However by working backwards you could say something along the lines of (put all your dirty clothes in the basket and let me knw when you have done that). This way the task at hand is small and easily achieved. One step at a time even they are baby steps, as long as they are in the right direction you are doing well.

So If you desire to earn $100,000.00 this year - Work Backwards - Don't look at your figures each month and say (FAR OUT) when you get closer and realise it's to far off for you.

If you know each sale you make get's you $350.00 then you know you must sell 285 items. Sound like a lot - but that is only 1.1 items a day that require to be sold - that is taking into account a 5 day work week and 4 weeks holiday.

In saying that then now work out what you need to in order to sell 1 item a day - if your closing rate is 1 in 3 - you need to have 3 appointments a day - Now you know this easy.

But make it easier for yourself again. In order to get 3 appointments a day - if you normally talk to 4 clients and get 1 appointment, you know you must make 12 calls the day before in order to establish these appointments.

As you get better at doing this you will realise that your closing rates get better. Imagine then that you have a 2 out of 3 closing rate and you get 1 in 2 call turned into appointments.

Continue at the rate you you started at - 12 calls will then equal = 6 appointment which will then = 4 sales for the day which will equal $1400 which means for your new income = $336,000.00.

A simple formula when put into practice creates the desired outcome you are looking for.

In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.
