Help With Deciding Appropriate Commission

I have a part-time position with a local public tv show - they are now offering job seeking sponsors/advertisers - what is the appropriate % that I should ask for of checks I bring in?

Never done this before but am remarkably well placed for it - is 20% reasonable?

Fine line between fundraising and outright advertising $ as show has a 'valuable service to the community' angle.

Any input would be gratefully accepted. Thank you.

I haven't worked in this industry before so I guess that is the question that I am asking ... right now I am thinking of 20% because that is what would be decent money - fair inspiration as it were ...
