Audio-Visual Equipment

In the near future I will be giving presentations to prospects in a board room. I know nothing about audio-visual equipment. If I wanted to use my laptop and powerpoint software what else would I need?

You would also need a projector, and white board, possibly a pointing laser, and depending on the size, a PA system and a mic.
