Employment Agreements

For those members who are owners/managers do you have your employees sign a formal employment agreement? If so, did you draw up your own or use a generic form?

For those members who aren't owners/managers were you asked to sign a formal employment agreement? -BossMan

We have our agents sign an "employment agreement". We use a modified version of the generic agreement provided by the State's Department of Real Estate. -AZBroker

Yes, we were asked to sign an agreement. It was no big deal. The agreement just detailed the compensation plan and things of that nature. -Newbie

Employment agreements are an excellent idea and should document your compensation plan. This will help to eliminate and/or resolve a lot of post-employment issues. ;) -SalesCoach
