For a number of years I was in sales with focus on advertising and marketing. A little more than 5 years ago I began working for Chesterfield County (VA). The agency I work for in the county is Chesterfield Employment Services - a part of Mental Health- whose mission is to assist people with disabilities find employment. My specific job revolves around developing partnerships with area businesses. We are also developing several small businesses within our organization which will offer work to our job seekers. So, I am involved a lot in marketing these business services and products. I just stumbled on SalesPractice while search the internet. Even in this county 'government' job, I am always looking for new sales/marketing ideas and resources.
