I wanted to say hello to everyone at this forum. I was searching for a sales forum, and was beginning to think I would never find one. I am very excited to have found this site.
I began in retail sales with my stepfather in the flooring business. After two years there, I hired on as an outside salesman with a Flooring Distributor, which I loved, however two years into it, hurricane Katrina delt a massive blow to the company, and after "hanging in there" for a year, had to look for work elsewhere.
I am currently an outside salesman for an oilfield service company. I have been there just over a year, but I feel that my performance is much less than desireable. I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with the members of this forum, and get some insight as to what I am doing wrong, and what I can do to improve my sales.
