Unhappy DiSMISSED because I refused to use the product myself

I won't have the opportunity to use all your good stuff right away guys.

I have been dismissed by the manager because I refused to use their hair restoration menbrane (it's like a wig but permanent and very undetectable)

They said that I couldn't sold this product if I didn't use it myself as my hair are thinning a little bit.

They must be right but i really couldn't wear a wig at 25...

Lesson learn:

ONLY SELL A PRODUCT/SERVICE THAT YOU CAN 100% STAND FOR!

Tomorrow going to find another selling job

Sorry it didn't work out for you but it sounds like you'll probably be happier in another position. Best of luck with your job search. Keep your spirit strong!

Thanxs... This company didn't pay me for my3 weeks there because of a recovery training cost section in my contract. Very unfair I just lost 3 weeks of income.

Next time I'll be more careful...

Do you believe I should include this experience in my resume or just said I have been on holiday for 2-3 weeks and just came back...

Good question. How long were you in your previous job before that one?

RyanH, I think you could make a case for either scenario. Which do you feel more comfortable doing? Do you feel like you'd be hiding something if you left your last position off your resume? Or do you feel it's not an issue? The reason I ask is that if you do what your gut tells you, you'll be most comfortable, and that will come through in your next interview.

If a company ask for my reference and contact my previous manager, I don't think he is going to be helpful... We had a terrible argument on my last day.

So i'm going to hide it, I'll say that I was in France for 3 weeks and just come back so I 'm know looking for a new position.

Going to try this and prepare the questions I may get after that during the interview.

Thanx Skip
