Greetings all,
I ran into this forum during a search for sales techniques given that I'm starting a role on Monday involving sales, something I've never been involved in. Although I have a working background, I got fed up with corporate life and jumped ship to undertake a beauty diploma (Esthetician I think you call it in the States?) I landed this job as my first in the beauty world and this is a significant foot in the door for me. Although some of it will involve beauty therapy, much of it involves direct sales of cosmetic products. I have a daily sales target to meet and a weekly report to fill out as well as other details to address etc. Hands on beauty services, no problem. Customer contact no problem. I'm confident on that score. But sales targets? Oh my lord, I'm petrified! So, here I am. Reading hungrily, learning as much as I can and trying not to freak out. Guess that means I'm glad to be here ![]() Cheers, SPARROW |

I was just sure when it said lipstick that you were selling something where you had to "slap some lipstick on that pig?"
